Fashion Show

An evening showcasing some beautiful clothes, and raising money for the charity, EOS Network.

Tickets are £10 each, and includes a welcome glass of bubbly, bucksfizz or juice, there will be a raffle with some lovely prizes, and a couple of games, along with the highlight of the evening, a fashon show with the opportunity to buy some of the gorgeous outfits. 

EOS Network is working to support people who have eosinophilic diseases. Eosinophils are white blood cells, which usually protect the body from parasites and bacteria. When these cells get lost, and out of control, they cause inflammation in various parts of the body, such as the oesophagus, gut, lungs, and joints. This can make life very difficult and painful for those who suffer. 

Research is ongoing, as the conditions were only recognised around 30 years ago, so there is still a lot to find out about the diseases and how to trest them. 

One small research study recently cost  around £300,000 More is needed to help improve the options of treatment, there is no cure.
